I am sooo tired of all those shitty pictures on dA, I mean my pictures aren't the best the world has ever seen either, but what's it with all those people who post nude pics of themselves? And I don't mean act photography, that can be quite tasteful, but the I'll-just-spread-my-legs-and-take-a-pic-of-myself-down-there or I-shove-my-boobs-in-everyone's-face?

I seriously don't care about the mature content filter. I turned it off because the not visible thumbnails are just as annoying. And because some of the mature pictures are actually pretty good.

What's bugging me is, that deviantArt is supposed to be an art site, right? At least that's what I thoguht when I signed up. And I switched from seeing the newest deviations to seeing the most popular every day, because then some of the really bad pictures get filtered out. Some. Not all. Not even most of them. I wonder what is happening to dA. Have a look at the front page and you'll mostly see pictures of boobs and naked women, quick shot self-portraits without any purpose but big boobs.. You will see primitive pictures under the label of cosplay or expressive portraits.

I am so, so, so tired of having to look for hours and finding only 2 or 3 artsy pictures.

dA is not myspace, for God's sake.

And these are just examples. I don't even wanna count all the butt holes and vaginas and penisses I've seen unwillingly, or how many pictures I've seen that I wouldn't post anywhere but my personal album, wouldn't even post on facebook for the public.

Private picturea are for private use. And art shouldn't be abused to show off private parts and get site views and comments or just to appear on the front page. This isn't the place to boost your ego with shitty pictures, please. This is a place to boost your ego because you create art and it turns out good, because you put effort into your pictures and people like it.

This is an ART site, not myspace of facebook or some other social network.

Excuse my rant.

Awe, yay, I'm gonna get a 4-pic lomo sometime around this week or next. And I'd have to study but I can't bring myself to concentrate. Exam in less than two weeks. Sucks...

I've become lazy. For the last two months I've written my novel....I've come a long way. My goal was 50.000 words and I hit the 21.000-mark last week.
It's not snowing here. I wanted to take pictures of Berlin when it snow. But I've been waiting and waiting and it just doesn't happen. I'm going out tomorrow because I need to get some fresh air and some time outside of my flat.
I should read a book for my class next week but I'm too absorbed in everything else right now.

So, now that I finally uplaoded the lyrics to all songs...okay not all, one is missing, but I'll do that later on. I'm curently waiting for authorization to use two images from DA to create a cover for two of my songs.
I have actually no idea what to do about the others. not yet anyway. I have an idea about "Suicide Song" and "Frozen with Time"...so if anyone is interested in creating covers for the other songs....feel free to do so. Heck, I could make that a challenge now, couldn't I? Okay, anyway...I'd feel honored by any replies concerning this here and if I decide to use your creation you'll of course be mentionen on my myspace account and anywhere where I post the song and the cover and of course I'll link back to your DA account.

My first LP "Emotional disaster" is finished with 14 songs on it. NOne of them have been properly recorded and mixed. But anway, I've started working on the new LP, which doesn't have a name yet. 2 songs already stand and the third is in the coming.
